El pasado 12 de noviembre en nuestras tres sedes se celebró el English Day.
Nuestros estudiantes construyeron stands, que por medio de distintas actividades nos dieron a conocer la cultura y características principales de los países de habla inglesa.
Durante este proceso los estudiantes aportan la realización ,producción y exposición del evento, mientras nuestros docentes lideraron y organizaron los grupos de trabajo, dicha sinergia contribuyó al éxito de esta jornada.
The school carries out different recreational activities that encourage learning in various ways and an example of this is English Day. This activity has been taking place for several years in which a cultural sample is exhibited by children in English. In addition, various themes are shown in the second language. For this year, the activity was carried out by themes established in the modules of the booklets given by the Ministry of Education. In this way, each grade comes with its book where different topics related to the context of the individual are developed.
Also, these modules show the different components of the language such as listening, speaking, writing, and reading. And likewise, this is worked in the classroom to improve the skills of the students. Therefore, on November 11, 2022, English Day was held by Camila Arbeláez, Jonathan Ramos and Gina López with the collaboration of coworker teachers at the three locations of the San Francisco de Asís school.
